Monte da Peceguina Rose, 2019

The Producer Monte da Peceguiha is the second wine of Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, a producer that has quickly become one of Alentejo's leading estates, their first vintage being in 2003. They are modern, but in the best possible way and their wines are never dull 'international'-styled wines that could have come from anywhere.
Winemaking Manual harvesting in the early hours of the day for boxes of 12 kg. After sorting and selection, the grapes were stalked and gently pressed. Fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks and partial fermentation in used French oak barrels of 500L.
Tasting notes Soft salmon coloured. Wild red berry and ripe fruit flavours, with a floral edge. Firm, minerally and dry, with nice grip and weight of tart cherry fruit. Delicate and vibrant, this Rosé really hits serious heights in terms of quality.
Food Pairing Tomato salad, grilled Fish
