Wine Making Churchill’s Quinta da Gricha 1999 Vintage Port is Churchill’s first homegrown single quinta vintage port, produced from the old vineyards at Quinta da Gricha, located in the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro Valley. Exclusively available through Bar Douro's Bottle Shop with less than 140 magnums left in existence.
Tasting notes Purple in colour; vibrant and intense. The nose is high tone and reminiscent of concentrated blueberries. The taste is fine and well balanced with mouth puckering tannins on the finish. It is a combination of finesse and power.
Serving Recommendations Stand the bottle upright for a few hours before decanting. Best decanted at least two hours before service. Serve at room temperature (16-18ºC).
