Tasting Notes Churchill’s 10 Year Old Dry White Port is an emblematic product for Churchill’s and unique in its style. This long ageing period gives it a balance and smoothness that is in a class of its own. This white Port has a vibrant golden colour with grated nutmeg and eucalyptus on the nose. On the palate this wine is fresh and complex with a long peppery finish.
Food Pairing This Dry White Port is a deliciously different aperitif to enjoy before lunch or dinner and a perfect partner for smoked salmon, olives, roasted almonds and cheese biscuits. Combined with tonic, it makes for the perfect summer cocktail. Churchill’s signature white port and tonic is served simply with an orange peel twist – allowing the aged port to shine and transporting us to the orange groves of Quinta da Gricha, in the Douro valley.
