Grape varieties Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira.
Winemaking Manual harvesting. The grapes were selected on the sorting table, destemmed and the berries lightly crushed. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Aged for six months in 500 litre French Oak barrels.
Tasting notes Deep ruby in colour, with lively aromas of red berries and hints of chocolate. Bright and fruit forward with round tannins. A full bodied red for every day drinking.
Food pairing Traditional Portuguese dishes such as Pork and clams, bacalhau or feijoada (pork and bean stew).
Serving recommendations Serve just below room temperature 16-18ºC.
