Grape Varieties 40% Touriga Nacional, 30% Touriga Franca and 30% Tinta Roriz.
Winemaking After 4 days of cold maceration the fermentation process follows under temperature controlled conditions. The juice is gently pumped over the skins during fermentation which is long and even ensuring good aromatic and colour extraction. 20% of this wine is aged in 2nd and 3rd year casks, and the remaining part is aged in stainless steel tanks in order to retain the typical fruity character.
Tasting notes Rich and spicy on the nose, showing aromas of cedar wood and crushed nutmeg upfront. Juicy and intense on the palate, with fresh cherry notes and a dry finish.
Food pairing A wine for everyday drinking to serve on its own or with everyday food.
Serving recommendations Serve just under room temperature (16-18ºC).
