The producer The Quinta da Lagoalva estate is part of a region of unique natural beauty extending along the south bank of the river Tagus. Its wine production roots go back to 1888.
Winemaking Fermented in French oak vats. 70% aged in French oak barrels
Tasting notes Winemakers Diogo Campilho and Pedro Pinhão harvested the grapes mechanically during the night. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats before malolactic fermentation in French and American oak barrels, where it aged for 6 months
Food pairing Pair with Polvo à Lagareiro (octopus cooked with potatoes and drizzled with olive oil and garlic).
Serving recommendations Serve at 18ºC.
